Aquafluor

Aquafluor is a clinical tested acrylate-resin, water-based fluoridation-varnish for the fluoridation and treatment of sensible tooth- collums in form of a ready-for- use emulsion.
After applying and drying of Aquafluor the sticking-film will continously give up little quantities of fluorides for following time until the complete dissolvation of the film (saliva). Therefore an optimal fluoridation is guaranteed.

Comparison	Emulsion	Suspension
Application:	No shaking needed.	Must be shaken before treatment.
Dissolvent:	Bases of varnish are dissolved only in water.	Bases of varnish is dissolved in organic solvent.
Concentration of fluorides:	0.15 % pure fluorides.	Most types are higher than 0.56 % pure fluoride.
Release of fluorides:	Easy release of fluorides out of the polymeric layer.	Fluorides are covered into the polymeric layer and will be released only in lower portions.
Conversion of polymeric layer:	Polymeric layer will disappear as soon as it becomes completely dissolved by the saliva.	Polymeric layer will disappear unchanged at one piece.
